Who We Are

At Chadwick Estate Law, estate planning isn’t just about paperwork — it’s about people. Every will, trust, and plan we create begins with one goal: helping families protect what matters most.

Our approach is grounded in clarity, compassion, and confidence. We make complex legal concepts simple, guide clients through each decision, and ensure every family leaves our office with peace of mind.

Whether you’re preparing your first will, administering a loved one’s estate, or protecting family assets through trust planning, our firm provides personalized guidance every step of the way.

Bass Wilder Chadwick is an estate planning and probate attorney dedicated to helping Pennsylvania families protect what matters most. He founded Chadwick Estate Law to provide the sophistication of a large firm with the personal care of a local practice.

A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M. in Taxation & Estate Planning) and Charleston School of Law (J.D.), Bass brings advanced tax and trust experience to every client matter. Before launching his firm, Bass spent years practicing in the Taxation & Wealth Planning Department of an AmLaw 100 firm, advising individuals, trustees, and business owners on complex estate issues.

Bass’s approach is straightforward: make planning clear, comfortable, and tailored to each family’s goals. He believes a well-crafted estate plan isn’t just a set of documents — it’s a lasting act of care that protects loved ones for generations.

When he isn’t helping clients, Bass enjoys life with his wife and two children on the Main Line. His interests include woodworking, hockey, and tending to his apple orchard in Maine, reflect his belief in building things meant to last.
